Spent an enjoyable day at Arundel Wetlands on Saturday trying to improve my bird photography. I think this is better than my first attempt a few weeks ago - I now have a new lens, new tripod and gimbal head so I am seriously trying to improve. I value your opinions and if you can offer any help it would be gratefully appreciated.
Barbara

A super shot and well worth removing the slight halo beside the bird: top quality bird photography.

Agree here Barb, the second version is perfectly captured, and the details are amazing
as they should be with that 'huge new lens'...but worth it.. now time to get the muscles built up!!

An excellent capture Barbara. The detail on the Chaffy is first class, but unfortunately the replaced and cloned/rendered bg lets you down. It is evident where too large a brush has fogged over the perch especially underneath

I totally agree Richard. I cannot believe I did this! I didn't spot it until after uploading and didn't feel I should delete it as people had already commented, so I added a V2. Lesson learned..... in future I will ALWAYS check BEFORE uploading!!! Thank you for taking the time to critique, appreciated.......

and thank you everyone for your comments and votes.......Barbara
