o.k. ... it isnt really
Its a statue in Lotherton Hall House.
Strangely it seems to have a roman soldier's helmet on.
The house is closed for viewing at the moment.
So cant wait for March to find out about this intriguing statue.

It's a well-known fact. Roman burglars wore no clothes, but had helmets in order to protect their modesty if disturbed by the lady of the house.

66 and counting: here's another for a lovely image that made me smile.
OOOH the barefaced cheek of this cheeky chappy, did the police catch him and get to the bottom of what went on at Lotherton Hall house on the night of the 12th of January 2013?! It looks like you were the key witness getting this rearly good shot of him fleeing the crime scene! I bet the events of the night of the 12th caused quite a rumpus in this sleepy village!!!
If this were Cluedo I'd say the prime suspect would be the buttler!
