Good morning all....
This is a re-work of Sunset. I've used Color Effex Pro to enhance the detail, I know its made the image a little noisy, but I can live with that. Sunset is as shot.
The shot is from Clavell's Pier, Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset, but I wanted to give an otherworldly feel to the image and hopefully I have achieved that.... More to follow.
lovely shot, great colous to the sky an nice shine on the water.
A beautiful manipulation, Mark. Carol
Great colour and composition
Just knew this was yours Mark
A wonderful image and so well reworked
Oooh, I love that sweep of light. A beauty.
Great light and exposure, stunner.
Hope my UA says it all Mark.....absolutely stunning work.
My immediate reaction was Wow nice one here!
Didn't even recognise it from before!
Love the richness of colour especially the sky tones.
I've just downloaded Silver Efex Pro as a trial.
Not sure if I process in Photoshop first (from Raw)
or what the work flow order should be.
Can anybody help give me a few pointers please.
Judging by your images these Niksoft plug-ins seem to do a great job
if you know how to use it judicially!
Stunning work! Bravo!
It does feel 'otherworldly' to me and I really enjoyed it, I like the L shape formed by the rocks.
Lovely composition Mark. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like you may have a sharpening artefact on the cliff's in the horizon - see the ever so faint white line that seems to halo them? Personally, I find I get this a lot on my horizon's - especially where it contrasts against such a great sky. I remove this simply by adding a layer mask to the sharpening layer and using a very small brush with 100% opacity I paint over the offending ridge. Of course you could do the same with an eraser...
Thanks for the info Adam, much appreciated.
Your welcome Mark, its an excellent image and worthy of the fancy badges its earned you!
A great title which suits your image really well Mark! It is very mysterious - well taken and many congratulations on all the awards!
Get In there...............very nice mate........
Congrats's Mark, like the comp & beautiful colours!
Great work Mark, congratulations on the UA's and GEA.
This is terrific! Well worthy of the awards
This does look other-worldly, a great atmospheric shot.
