Solomon's Seal

The leaves suffered in the hail storms, and the berries are getting ripe--They will turn a black-purple and drop to the ground. This is a native plant in our woods where they grow abundantly.

Thank you for your kind remarks this morning, Jenn.
I do not recognise this plant at all......another new one for me, and so well captured and presented by you in this shot.......has an almost abstract quality to it.
Ronnie.

I love the light in these shots of yours. I've never seen these before. Fascinating berries and I really like their distinct segmentation.

Are they edible when ripe? Are they jammable?

I'm sure this is different to the Solomon's Seal that we have here - or perhaps your wonderful photographic skills just make it look different Smile. Great photo Jenn.
