A Marble, something or other ,butterfly taken at the nature reserve behind my workplace.
It was a bit windy so focusing was tricky.

There are thousands up in the nature reserve. It's on typical chiltern chalky grassland, which they like apparently.
I have some of the other species i saw up there which i will post at a later date.

Nice colour and composition Paul. I think the focus point could possibly do with being on the foreground wings, the softness and the fact that the underside is paler make the image a little confusing.

The plant was moving backwards and forwards in the wind. I didn't really have too much control over the focus. I put it on continuous and hoped for the best.
