This was the wedding cake at my freinds wedding. It was my first wedding as the official photographer. The background was so busy the cake didn't stand out, after a bit of photoshop magic, yo can se what a nice original cake it was.

The cakes don't quite stand out enough against the background, but here are so many, it seems the epitomy of gluttony - I'd lke to eat them all but I couldn't manage!
From that point of view, I find it mildly humerous, and it does have a kind of curiosity appeal.

Thanks Keith. hey stand out a lot more than they did.Maybe I could do something to the background to make it less obtrusive.

Gaussian Blur in PS, or it's equivalent in PSP etc, on this poor screen it looks like the levels and saturation on the cake and it's stand could do with a tweek.

I tried blurring the background more but it looked worse.
It looks much better as a print, the cakes really jump of the paper. Which is just as well as my freinds are picking them up tomorrow.
PS. peak imaging did a superb job of the prints.

Thanks Magda, the couple certainly liked it, they didn't realise for a while that the background was black and white, I guess thats a good thing.
