The low morning light & the remains of a frost served to highlight the detail in the ground.
Taken from a different position to a previous upload, which enabled me to isolate the tree more effectively.
Thanks for looking
Good angle Baz,I like this very much.
Simple and effective.
Well spoyyed and capured.
lovely composition and nicely presented in b&w. I wonder how you got so high above the tree?!
Excellent composition - works very well.
Thanks for the comments, folks.
Quote: I wonder how you got so high above the tree?!
I took it with my 70-200 lens @ 200mm from the top of a hill.
Prefer this one Baz as there is less distraction but the tractor tracks add something as well.
I love the simplicity of this image and it works so well in B&W
This is a fantastic image, love everything about it, especially the shadow of the tree, excellent work.
Well spotted & exposed, comp etc etc...
Think you could have gone for fine art rather than wildlife/nature!
Love this. If there is more space around you could go for a less tight crop.
A superbly composed mono. I really like this.
this is a very special and original shot, I like the soft shadow over the snow, I'm pleased to give my award
a great one, excellent
Many thanks for the comments, folks, & particularly for your award Tommaso.
this is a great composition and I like the tonal range
