Cracking light and mood; you were right to crop as there's too much dark sky in particular in the uncropped version, it dominates and detracts from the light.

Definitely crop, but what about a little more off the sky and a little less off the trees?? .... there's more interest in the latter than the sky.

Thanks Keith! Just as I settled on v3! I do like the sky, but I suppose it can be a bit monotonous, & in a decent sized print the sharpness in the trees I think would be a nice foreground & a bit of interest contrasting with the softness of the mid- background.
