These are two different images combined into a 'fun' photo. The 'Lady' is a Tudor subject from Hampton Court and the monochrome scene is at the ruins of Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire. Historically, it's therefore an anomaly.
I am however thinking of including it in my club's next projected image competition. The 'ghost' effect is done by choosing 'hard light' with an opacity of 48% for the Levels 1 setting, using Elements 6 for Mac. At 100% the Lady is there in all her glory.
The order is: Background, Background Copy, Levels 1 (with the Lady) and Layer 1.
What do ephoto members think of this whacky approach? Could it be improved?
