Another from the weekend of madness...the weather was a little better at this time than earlier in the day, with the sun peeping through occasionally ![]()
Please give me comments good or bad...if you view and dont like it please tell me why except because it's the same tree everyone does;o)
thanks everyone for taking the time

Beautiful shot this. Really nice mood to it, wish it was mine! Maybe would frame the tree slightly more off centre, and run the image through neat image or noise ninja. Just observations though cos this is a fine capture.
Phil.
Cheers guys
...tony what an idea ;o)
Phil thank you very much for you advice....but it's bad enough trying to do PS ;o)...I get confused very easily :o)))

Angie,
It's OK, but I always prefer the shot with the Black Mount behind - so much more dramatic than this view I always think.
I'd have included the sky - it looks to be more dramatic than the foreground here.
Wonderful colours you've captured in this shot.
Think I would have put the tree off centre though.
I must be the only person that doesn't know this tree, but then I don't get out too much.
Hilary
thanks guys ![]()
Paul I dont mind either, but when looking at them in the car it did cross my mind about it being to central.
I keep typing the wrong tag :o(((

What incredible lighting, Angie. Makes the whole thing shine gloriously. Personally I'm not bothered by the tree being in the centre - it's balanced by the formation of the ?rocks ?hillocks just in front of the next stretch of water and brings the bg and the fg together. I fink. What am I blathering about! But you know what I mean 8-]
A real beauty of a shot 8-]
Even I know about 'the tree.' I especially like the backlighting here. Can't see any problems to critique.
Patrick
For someone who thinks they can't do 'landscape shots' I think you got it wrong! This is a beautiful image. The light and composition are just right. I don't see anything wrong with the tree in the centre as it seems to me, that it is precicely where it should be! Nice shot Angie ![]()

Hi Angie - I like this although the tree is a little centrally placed. That said, I guess you were caught by the dilemma of good light on the b.g. to the left and on the rock in the f.g. on the right. Nick.
The capture of the sunshine on the moor is what wins here - fabulous capture Angie!
I too took my shot this way as taking it the "traditional way" with the mountain in the background would have been pretty useless being as the sunlight (and the rainbow) was in this direction. You should be proud of this matey.
Jeanie
Beautiful lighting and colours. Excellent exposure throughout.
Phil.
