My kind of shot,well done
Could have been the train that's bringing the books Angie :O)
Personally, I would push the saturation just a little more for impact but that's minor.
Crackin' wee shot!!!
First class, super crop all action.
A cracker missus, got one or two from an overhead bridge myself, but none as dynamic as this. Lovely.
Have just posted one of this train too this morning ... now there's a coincidence.
thanks guys..a quick response, now off to look at Pauls attempt...cant be as good as mine, must stop dreaming ...lol...
Great shot Angie. Super movement in the shot and well captured. Very sharp, love it.
(Missed you last night in the challenge).
Lovely composition showing off the majestic beauty of this old machine.
Glynn I explained on the thread sorry
A link to Pauls version a cracking b&w
Good crop giving us a good record of the Engine.
Thanks for the link Angie - but not neccessary, really.
Anyway, I have posted a mod for you ... only a quick one mind as the boss is imminent
Have a great day.
A great mod thanks...spent hours trying to convert and was never happy with any of my attempts
I know it wasn't neccessary but a good shot needs a lot of people to see it
Excellent image. You can almost feel the power and speed to this.
A real stoater of a shot Angie.Take care.Ann
Excellent shot Angie, good sense of speed and motion with the addition of the steam.
have to say I got this enlarged yesterday also and it looks amazing...the little girl who I have done it for will cry, her mum said
Blimey what a well-placed chalet for Harry Potter/steam train fans!
Super work Angie.
Don't see too many of these wonderful old trains any more.
Ahhh - nostalgia
I have had a few shots of this one at the viaduct in Glenfinnon but not as good as this one Angie...hope you had a good time.
A cracking shot Angie, I can smell the steam from here.
Thank you one and all
Jeanie...yes it was great the kids loved to stand on the decking at the front and wave each day at it
Doug a great time, just slightly restricting in things we wanted to do with the baby (we will be back when he is bigger :O)..)
Pete..the smell is fab
Nice shot Angie, but then I'm biased. I'm a steam man! If you had gone up the hill and shouted to the west, you may have got an answer from our friend on Mull!!
A classic shot in subject and quality.
a brilliant capture well done!
thank you one and all
