Waiting by Tynnwrlluniau

Absolutely gorgeous Alun.

Incoming Outgoings

V2 is good and clever but I love V1 for it's mood and atmosphere. It leaves you asking questions rather than having them all answered and I could look at it a lot more often.

Nice one,

I love images of sheep and snow - easily pleased I know but this is a good one.

Have a good Christmas Mari,

Love this one the best Jules. It has a gorgeous feel to it.

Golden Moment

Golden Moment by Tynnwrlluniau

A very good capture Alun irrespective of any comparison.

It is a good exercise though so if I were to be picky I'd opt for elements from each.... Sky - I'd keep the more natural looking sky from V2 but combine it with the portion of warm light on the left hand side of V1. Land - I'd keep everthing in the fore and mid ground from V1 as it has much more impact and natural looking contrast plus the haze from V2 on the left hand side is distracting. I particularly love the light and detail on the facing slope of the hill/mountain (whatever you call it) just beyond the 2nd lake/loch or whatever you call it - I'm from East Anglia and we don't have those strange things here Blush

Either way, a cracking shot!

I like this Jules. I love the fresh look on a place quite familiar to me. You've managed to turn it into someplace completely different with your processing and technique.

Very well done!

Jules this image is amazing. Great vision to shoot this location so well - great conditions too! Definitely your best from the defenses at Old Felixstowe.

Curbar Lines II

Curbar Lines II by edrhodes

Definitely prefer this vresion Ed. You've added punch in all the right areas and the mist looks much more misty too if you know what I mean which is good.

I can just imagine being there. Simple and very serene - I like it a lot.

A great shot Mark and much the better for your recent processing too. A little extra saturation and the orton addition works really well with autumnal shots like this - good choice.

Wow Paul, This is gorgeous. I love the pastels in this too... a lesson to all the saturation junkies out there (including myself at times Blush) that subtle touch works just as good if not better.

Love it.

Gaps by chris-p

Lots to look at and keep your eye roving about here Chris. A gorgeous image!

I agree with fazzer. I love this for having no sky in it.
