I had my first venture out today with my new Sigma 105mm Macro. I've wanted to get some mushroom shots for a while and finally have the chance.
Macro photography is new to me and whilst I understand the theory, having the practical know-how is different which is why I'm posting to the critique gallery... and will do for a while with my macro shots.
So for this image (I have no idea what these are) I stacked 11 images in PS CS5 and made some minor adjustments to contrast and details (curves adjustments and Topaz Detail). Processing is not a problem for me but macro composition is all new so I'd appreciate some feedback.
Oh and... no reflectors, extension tubes or flash yet - although they are on my wishlist - but I know these will improve the overall result.
Cheers in advance,
