Whoopee, there they are again, in the same trusted spot as always, on the banks of a little stream in our garden. I have a soft spot for wood anemones as my parents always used to take us kids to a special wood to see them for when they were first out. That was in Sweden and they were not often to be expected much before the beginning of May. AND YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED TO PICK THEM. But here they are, in Scotland and it's early April.
They are so much more special than I can depict, though! ....and these little flies, I don't know who they are, but they were there....I discovered afterwards....didn't want to remove them.....

Yes, just out here. I will be exploring the banks of the River Nairn today looking for more. This is a beautiful image because it shows the flowers so naturally.
