Cove Bay, Moray, Scotland.

A recent favourite of mine making use of the colours that were around on a very dull wet evening well after the sun had set. The light from one side is indirect and is from a relatively bright area of sky. I had noticed it shining on the edge of these beautiful sandstone slabs beneath an inky blue twilight sky . The water here always seems to manage a deep green colour so I felt the colour combination would prove intriguing with a long exposure.

Perfect! A scene so beautifully captured. As a viewer I am also captured, but not at all against my will, although I have to will myself to go away! This is what a really good photograph does to you and you end up wanting to say thank you for taking me there.
Great stuff.
