The only remnant of the early monastery founded by St. Mochua (died 657) is a very well-preserved Round Tower, 96 feet high.

That is a fantastic tower--- would love to have a good look at that one-- as to the wall, well, I guess it is not going to fall, but it is scary!

Thanks Taggart.. The "Wall" is the gable end of the monastery. Lens distorted the angle of this last standing wall. A very tight shot.I wish I had a wide angle lens for this one. I tried to correct it in Photoshop but I found that I was pulling the tower on the left into an lean.

I have the nikon version of the 18-200 lens-- ave the same problem-- -- it does a bit of pin cushioning as well-- but a fantastic carry around lens -- I call it my point and shoot!
