I think, of another wise reasonable picture, the prominence distract from the picture are the two large rocks centered right, the blades of grass and the relative hard line at the edge of the ice towards the bottom of the picture. Would appreciate your comments and advise - Isabella
PS. many thanks for the comments on the previous image, the buachaille

Hi Bellai
Gorgeous colours and light and a fine composition. Only two minor points for me. The snow is very bright and borderline 'blown' but avoiding this in direct sunlight is easier said than done. My second suggestion would be to check the sharpness of the image as the upload appears a bit 'unsharp' here.
Regards
Alun
I like it , but I think a touch overexposed. I love panoramas of the mountains...a la Colin Prior.
I think I would have tried to get closer to the water, and make more of a feature of it in the foreground. The grass is a bit distracting, but there are lots of pictures in here. I'll upload a mod...

Hi Isabella, I love mountains and I love snow so you could have taken this standing on your head and I would still like it. However, I do agree with the above comments re the slight over-exposure and softness in focus. The 2 large rocks are fine, they add some middle-ground interest and form part of the lead-in line to the mountains. I do like Sooty 1's modification, the tighter crop strengthens the image. All in all a lovely image.

Hi Alun, thanks for taking the time to make a comment I find this valuable. I've done a bit of sharpening and i've taken Sooty's advise re the crop and I think the combination of these has improved the image and also reduced snow in the foreground which partially mitigates the over exposure. Regards Isabella
