Facing Northwards it was blue sky and wispy clouds. However turn 180 degrees and this nice cloud formation gathered to create a more moody shot. After waiting for the Hull Zeebrugge ferry to depart the shot, I got this.

My first post in ages, and probably a bit late to the party posting Spurn shots, but first day back from holiday.

EDIT: I'm just learning the ropes in Capture at the moment and subsequent to posting this, have found the drop down menu with presets for my K10D... tried it and this picture was much more vibrant than this posted shot... oh well!

Beautiful! Great skyscape with lovely colours and nice symmetry in the composition.

Real menace in those clouds, it was quite strange how the weather was different everywhere you looked. Maybe something to do with being stuck miles out in the sea?
