Love the shot - what is the story behind them?

Thanks Cori. Not too sure actually, they look a bit odd really and I am not sure whether they formed part of an old landing stage or what. Might do some research and find out.

Looks good large. Some nice textures coming through.

I have a shot of these way back in PF, "Dead Wood", if you want to take a look. There's a bit of history on these stumps there but not a lot.

Thanks for your comments folks. Thanks Martyn for the info. Now at least I know what I am looking at! The remains of an old Granary and not some ancient site!

Works really well, I had a go at doing some similar shots following the meet as well, however they all ended up being deleted.

I too have been to Photogtaph these stumps a couple of times recently and can find out nothing about them other than they may just be fen markers and they are located where the waters divide. they have obviously beeen there a long time. nice shot, i went for lower view points.

The large version really shows all the textures and detail.
Great conversion.

Hope to see some more of your uploads soon Smile
