My first upload from the weekend meet. I noticed most people were using filters on the shoot, and have got some great skies, so I have cheated in PS a little bit. As the skies were a little grey at the time, I had in my head that this would work as a B/W shot. I could have been a bit braver and created more contrast in the image but I like it as it is.

Incidently... this is my first e2 upload so view large if you can!

I liked this at this size then I looked at it larger and the textures in the trunk jumped out at me.. great work.

Jeanie... Thanks, glad you like the shot - when I uploaded it and tried out the larger version, I was pleased that it had showed off the detail.

. .glad you enjoyed the meet . .I certainly did and can't wait to get back up that way again . . .I shot a good few images for B & W conversion . . will be pposting a few later . . .

Andy, this is fantastic. It's suffered from the EPZ B&W thumbnail condition, and as a result hasn't received the attention it justly deserves. There's a fantastic amount of detail in the post which is set against an impressive background. I love it.
