Took this shot using studio lighting. I did a few layering techniques on the photo including a layer of soft light, in order to create the stark contrast of black and white in the photo.

I am very pleased with how it turned out, but thoughts and critiques are very welcome.

Love it. Very genuine and fresh look, style and open composition. Something about it reminds me of a certain style from maybe from the 50's....the sort of thing you could see on an album cover or movie poster. Just brill.
