This is a picture through a door window. The door was naturaly blacked out. Let me know what you think of this? Improvements>?
i like it...the door does provide a natural framing to the image... and the B/W works well here... =)
Great shot. Works very well. Love the b&w and slight graininess here. Adds atmosphere. Click. Ali.
I like it as it is. The wide border provided by the door gives a good atmosphere to the shot. The snow in the bottom corner is the finishing touch.
I was about to say that I felt the frame was a little overwhelming - and then I saw your description. I think this is very impressive, and I particularly like the little line of snow at the bottom of the glass frame - it lends it an almost antiquated effect.
Perfect as it is! The smallness of the little window restricts the view and gives a sense of intrigue IMO.
Original and well executed.
Great shot, comp and natural framing. Click
Great composition - I like the way the twig at the top and the build-up of snow at the bottom mirror each other.
Really like this,well captured
This is excellent
Works very well. Impressive.
VEry nice idea and shot - I thing I might have done is zoomed in a bit, so that the frame isn't such a large part of the photo.
Well done, though
Like the view through the window, but find that the door frame has given the picture to big a frame.
This shot looks really cool, like one of those old fashioned slides
Nice composition. Click. Paul
I really do get the feeling of looking through a window, I wouldn't change a thing!
This is so good
Would not change a thing nice work Ben.
What are you talking about?! Can't improve this!
haha.. kempo u r right.. this is a very differently captured shot!
well done i like this one, no need for a frame cheaper way out, fab click john
I think the big frame emphasizes the separation between the indoor sanctuary and the cold winter climate. It's like a window into another world.
Really like the shot. I think the framing is wonderful.
I like this shot. As has already been said, the door gives a natural framing, whilst the road leads into the picture.
Great use of framing, well spotted. It draws you into the picture. Well done
Lovely shot, works so well with the thick, black frame
