Captured during a days photo-shoot with my two elder brothers Joe (epz nick: KingArthur)& Edwin (epz nick: edcat), which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The dash of light beaming from behind the tree onto the path presented an ideal scenario for this particular frame.
I dedicate this frame to all the members on epz who hold at heart the value of true friendship well beyond the passion for photography.
Shot late in the afternoon.
Thank you for viewing and as always larger is better & wish you all a splendid w'end
Exposure :- 1/30s - @F13 + ND Grad.
ISO 200/Raw

Nice, simple and very effective Bert ... I just love that overfiltering, very well done!
Joe
Lovely work Bert, gorgeous light and composition. Nice work, even if a little posterized. Love it!
Fran
That tree must have weathered a good few storms over the years fine shot Bert.
Agree with your words regarding epz and the value of true friendship which is alive and well on this site and long may it continue.
Ian.
So simple but so beautiful. The lighting, the colours and the composition are all excellent.

Hi Bert, I hope this image is intentional, as it seems to lack your particular style(or as some might say "over-filtered), which at the end of the day, is what photography is all about - STYLES .
I like this, but if I'm honest, I'd like less foreground and more sky, like lifting the image a third upwards from the bottom, but that's just a personal thing and not to say it's not right as it is. Hope you have a great weekend buddy![]()

Looks a beautiful place Bert, as above the light is wonderful, Adrian
A good capture Bert. Nice lead in along the track.
Good lead in and light, has a charming almost bewitching quality. Good to see.

Hi Bert/excellent light and composition.Love your work and you can only photograph the conditions that are in front of you.Your style is perfect for the lovely island that you live in which you bring to the gallery.
Tom.
As usual, beautifully composed. IMHO though the sky would have been so much better if all of it had been darkened. The patch of light behind the tree is a little eyecatching.
Paul
Lovely light, Bert, and definitely has the feel of an old master painting. I really like the tree shaped by years of prevailing wind.
Andrew
Bert style is fabulous and instantly recognisable too and just as fabulous as always. I love the way you capture the light Bert. fabulous. helen
A great shot, the beam of light on the path makes it.
Darren.
The light works its magic and turns a simple scene into a classic image.
Penny
Stunning love the lead with the track & the light falling on it really set the scene

I love the vanishing point here, this is amazing...how do you get all of your images to look like paintings? Gorgeous work!
