The advent of summer draws us closer to the seaside and luckily on our island this does not involve much of a lengthy travel in order to get there.

Captured yesterday at Anchor Bay, this image depicts a Maltese Luzzu (ie. fishing boat) sheltered amid the cliffs that engulf the bay.

Shot very late in the afternoon.

Thank you for viewing and as always larger is better.

Cheers ;
Bert

i like the comp' Bert and the figures that are present in the scene and of course the boat. The sedimentary layers to the rock structure are also appealing

Lovely lighting on the rocks, Bert. Only a minor quibble, but if you could have shouted to those two guys on the right to turn around, I think it would have aided the overall composition here.

Thank you all for your comments & views which are highly appreciated.

Bridget & Jenn ... love the 18/200mm and don't think it will get off the D200 Wink

Actually I took quite a series (300 captures) at this location and I also used the D80 with the 18/55mm lens ... was also quite impressed with it's peformance ... images shall be uploaded in due course.

Cheers,
Bert Wink
