Here is another one of my Fungi's from silent valley. I took this last week, i used the flash for this one to bring out the fungi because it was getting too dark.

A fine close up of the pair of Fungi. I like the low POV at the same leavel . Fine natural colours against the dark BG.

A really nice pair Bethan,I like the low down POV here.
Sometimes a flash can be quite harsh on the stems & causes all sorts of strange shadowing...pleased to see you have avoided the pitfalls here though.Try taking a small torch with you & some crinkled up baking foil,bounce the light off the foil onto the 'shrooms & moss..you can angle the foil to throw light up into the gills...always helps if there is another person with you to hold the foil whilst you check in the viewfinder too Wink
