It was that! Honest - these two had absolutely NOTHING to do with the muck that came out of the chimney and splattered us ! (So they would have us believe).
Laugh, the jokers were fit to bust - so were Clur and myself - we'd just been laughing about 'soot bullets for photographers' when these two pulled out.

'Smiler' smartypants always wears a collar and tie with his boiler suit, a few of them do, the boiler suit is so bleached out you can't really see it. Never yet seen him dirty! (Never yet got him without a smile either!)
