2 Amazing shots.
So well detailed, so crisp and sharp, with a stunning dof

V1 works best - its the better of the two technically (sharper, esp the head). Its quite nice how the butterfly is looking towards us from the frame. Composition wise it could be a bit more interesting, e.g. the butterfly not so centrally positioned. I'll upload a mod in a moment to clarify that.
Overall its a nice image and certainly represents the current weather and difficulty in finding and photographing these little beauties!

Considering the wind, you did extremely well, and V2 is my favourite for the delightful way the butterfly is inside the buttercup.
Cracking shot, Bev. (Canon camera? I thought you had a Nikon, or was that last year?) Nice to know the common blues are around.
