Nice pose and a great shot
Lovely captures cannot pick which is best they are both good. lol at 70-300 I think.
v1 for me
Two great detail close up captures, love the detail and the colours. Well timmed I had trouble with these little chaps at the weekend. V1 for me
I am seeing a lot of images of these dear little butterflies this year--- This one is superb-- Wonderful eye contact for starters!
Great shot Bev.
2 Amazing shots.
So well detailed, so crisp and sharp, with a stunning dof
2 fantastic captures of this beauty. Love the comp and splash of yellow in V2.
V1 works best - its the better of the two technically (sharper, esp the head). Its quite nice how the butterfly is looking towards us from the frame. Composition wise it could be a bit more interesting, e.g. the butterfly not so centrally positioned. I'll upload a mod in a moment to clarify that.
Overall its a nice image and certainly represents the current weather and difficulty in finding and photographing these little beauties!
Great to see you in action again Bev, beautiful captures ... so pretty.. M
Great looking shots.
Very well captured, Bev, wish they'd keep still for me! Carol
A good duo - I like v2 best
TWO GREAT IMAGES.
Considering the wind, you did extremely well, and V2 is my favourite for the delightful way the butterfly is inside the buttercup.
Very good ,when I get near to any butterflies they fly away so I never get a shot of them
Cracking shot, Bev. (Canon camera? I thought you had a Nikon, or was that last year?) Nice to know the common blues are around.
Dave (the other side of CP
You got all the main bits in focus...nice one.
my 2 blues in my field have gone since the weather changed. This has got me itchy again .....have to get out there!!!!
A huge thankyou folks, and thank you Matt for the mod - it does give a lot more impact!
