While at home I often ride into town to meet my lady for lunch and walk over to Lake Eola in Orlando (alway loaded with bread for the birds). On this day we had a couple of children join us as we were mobbed with all kinds of birds. My wife asked them if they wanted to help feed some and began to show the little girl how to hold her hands and let the pigeons feed with some crackers. All of the sudden I hear ah's and giggles so turn around to find about 20 other people joining me in the shoot....must of been a camera club or something, a couple of them so excited they left lens caps where ever they threw them which I did return.
This first shot is the last of the versions I'll upload but the main one I like.
V2 Leigh showing the girl haw to hold her hands
V3 Girl paying attention.
V4 Girl practice run.
Don't be too hard on me, not my norm and leave stuff like this to Alan, Bernie, Proz and many others. Just thought it was a cute shot

I'm not sure the Pigeon enjoyed the experience as much as the girl did!! Smile

A lovely set of images - perhaps you should change from the 'norm' a little more often! Wink

Hi Glen,
Yes they are a lovely set of cute shots well caught. Well done.
The only trouble is I hate pigeons they are what I call
"Rats of the Sky" Carrying all sorts of diseases. But saying that
I can assure you that it does not detract from the pictures.
I do hope that this has not upset you and please don't take it
Personally.

Yes Dave, know what you mean about how nasty they can be. Can't get away from them though, as soon as you start feeding the swans and ducks they're right on ya. Parents were there and I hope they cleaned thier hands right away afterwards, there were restrooms right there where we were......not at all offended mate, thanks for your comment

Good images - (although I thought bloody hell that child is killing that bird - from the thumb) - V3 is a real cracker for me.

Best wishes

V4 is my fav. I love seeing that charming little child having the time of her life smack in the middle of a flock of birds--- now how wonderful could that be!

All great candids!

Thanks Dawn Jenn and Willie, willie thanks for the mod but that now looks to me like she has some sort of disorder on her legs and the white on the feathers now look a bit burnt, could be the difference in screens, interesting to see how others veiw it?

Its definitly monitors then Glen, - have you calibrated yours, - you can use Adobe Gamma, its in Control Panel if you have any version of Photoshop installed.

This is why calibration is important..
