Gorgeous, clear, rich detail in the heart of the flower, the black background is perfect. I wish the border wasn't so wide though, I find it a bit overpowering.

Well that MOD did not work.Thought I would put it on as a MOD so everyone would see it and it appears with NO border...H E L P !!
Put on again as a variation.

Definitely prefer the thinner border i V2, I hadn't noticed you'd put this up for Mods! (Might try something...)

Moira ...I always put mine up for Mods...I learn SO much from them.
I also always do the same border with a the epz black b/g. to isolate the pics but will have to look before I leap in the future.

Go for it Moira,can't wait.

keith
Blimey you got that on quick....when you suggested a thinner one I thought about a Lemon one but chickened out.

Beautifully composed on the diagonal. A lovely detailed flower which shows up nicely on the black background.
Do agree about the frame, and the thinner is an improvement. I go very thin with these frames, sometimes using a soft grey rather than white even. With your chosen EPZ black background, you could almost have tried with no frame for another kind of effect.

Your setting brought out the varied shades of yellow so very well. I would say the experiment was successful. v2 with the narrow border for me.

Beautiful bright colours.
Didn't think the white border was quite right so have done a mod for you.

Thanks everyone for the great reaction to my flower.
HILARY...A lovely Mod with nice border.I have tried this in the past and taken some stick from work mates (??).So I am rather cautious now.

Cheers.

You did so well with this one Keith, the yellow petals and the stamens sure weren't easy to capture the way you did. Great detail,
Johanna
