Hello to ye all!
Thank you for keeping me company to all this craziness!
After yesterday's nonsense something beautiful for you to enjoy. I spent the whole day at my mother's, painting her pergola. While we had a coffee break I took a round through her beautiful garden and stopped with my little Nikon at many flowers.
Here's the queen of the garden, a flaming red Hibiscus. The shot is as it came from the camera - only cropped square and framed.
Sorry for not having been online a lot the last few days - I'll recup on your pfs as soon as possible.
Hope you are all well,
Johanna
PS: I am off for the football now! ![]()

gorgeous flower with great detail and good use of dof
this is a stunning shot..and i love that color too
What beautiful detail........right down to the tiny spider thread from the top petal to the stamens. The colours are so real and the exposure is spot on

This is my favourite angle on the hibiscus, and I like the way you have gone for one on the edge of the bush so that it stands proud of the background. Beautiful.
This has to be one of the very best from the new camera Johanna, it always takes a little while to get the best from a new camera and lens. I know I was a while with The 5D.
