As I didn't get many shots of the Green Arrow in service, this will have to serve as my tribute to the broken machine. This bloke worked tirelessly [as did others] to get her sparklingly clean for the days' service.
Feel free to comment as you wish, have a great day and an even better weekend ... cheers for looking in.
Paul

Far more interesting than yesterdays image and for me and altogether better shot.
Dan
A super image with great detail especially when viewed large. I hope he had matching socks.
the detail and clarity in this is outstanding paul.
the little details like the water dripping from the bottom pipe, the sock, and the bucket, make it for me.
altogether a truly stunning image. (is it gonna be an A3 paul)

It just tells such a great story!
Hats of to all the enthusiasts who keep these trains running. And to the photographer who documents it ![]()

Great shot Paul, I was just thinking how good the red stripes looked when I read your title. Very fitting.
Darren.
The numbers and letter looks 3D. Nice effect.
Have a great weekend,
Patrick
Super tribute Paul he could do with a pair of ladders the rest the top LOL
Glynnis
Classy as usual mate. Showing my ignorance now, what has happened to damage her?
Phil.
Cheers Glynnis and Phil. Basically she's got some cracked tubes in her boiler Phil, to repair them could take up to 8 weeks but she's only got 3 weeks left on her boiler certificate, so it's been decided to put her on static display from now on. Don't worry mate, it's not ignorance, just that hanging around them every now and again, you pick up snippets of info.
