Just taken delivery

Just had the posty knock the door and my long awaited Xenon ring flash tube has arrived, 32 quid for 100mm dia, 800ws output tube, now the fun starts.
I have many ideas in my head of how to house and mount this, but it all seems to alter once you start to do it, sort of evolves as you go along, original ideas that seemed feasable at the start become totally useless in practise, my main problem is going to be keeping the electrodes covered when it is housed?????
I do love this sort of thing, it keeps the mind active and when completed it gives such a sense of satisfaction, especially when you see the prices of top quality ring flashes. So fingers crossed, pencil sharpened and lots of sketching and measuring tonight to get the ball rolling.
Will update as and when I can, will try to include phots so you can see.
