I had to wait for an hour to get this shot. I just spotted the advert for the I Phone in a shop window and waited for an eldery person to get into frame, this is the result. Hand held at my hip with the 50mm G at f1.8 and 1/2000sec.
A true EPZ lead balloon but I just love the simplicity and juxtaposition of it.

Nice juxtaposition!

As a contrast to the generation gap idea, luckily, my Mum is 97 and is quite adept at using her mobile phone. It's my main way of keeping in touch with her.

Well thought out and worth the wait, and the write-up made me smile! I have this long history of waiting in vain opposite Fenwick's classy window displays in Newcastle, all the usual Saturday morning slappers suddenly disappear.

It is too bad you see this as a lead balloon-- it is too bad there is such a thing as an epz lead balloon, but I know what you mean.

A well planned and well exposed shot that tells a story, is pleasing to the eye--has a touch of humor--

creative!

I think with 25 votes already, you're wrong about the lead balloon. This really works, you see. Not only is the advert huge and eye-catching, and is the text a good contrast with the suspected speed of the person in the shot, but even ignoring the text that iPhone and that elderly lady already provide great contrast, and that's obvious even from the thumbnail of this image. And you timed the shot very well, positioning the lady just right. Good thinking, and well done!
