This was taken in Baltimore, MD in an area called Fells Point - It is an old waterfront neighborhood. This man was homeless, the neighborhood business owners looked after him. I took this with my first digital camera - it is still one of my favorites. I like the way he wears his shirt.

Thank you all for the comments - each mirrors my own thoughts. I do not photograph many people, but I love when I am able to capture what essence I see and others "get it" I am posting another one - a gypsy on the step of a church in Florence, Italy, smoking and taking a break from begging. I loved the way her clothing blended in.

Have a good week in the UK - today it was 65d here and beautifully sunny.
