Mars Attacks

Mars Attacks by St1nkyPete

How have you managed to get the star trails to fade out at one end? Mine are always just solid all the way along.

Unlucky

Unlucky by Pete

Nice photo Pete. Shame some people seem to think parking illegally has something to do with the government and taxes. I'm sure there was somewhere within 50 feet that this "lucky" person could have parked legally.

Absolutely love the light and colour and composition. If I was good enough to get this shot, I would have removed the fence. Wink

Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House by Genuinedabber

Very nicely done. I shot some from the roof of my hotel and most got blown highlights. I think you got the exposure just right.

Dark and Light

Dark and Light by DouglasLatham

Reminds me of the night before I got married. I was staying in the Malvern Hills Hotel and the hills were on fire..... we drank the pub dry while the helicopters came to refill their water carriers from the lake at British Camp.

This is scary. Particularly since I had thought these two were the most "normal" guys there. I guess that now they have been papped, they are officially fully initiated.

The Abbey

Really great shot Jeanie - I thought you were just lying down eating the buttercups Smile

All you needed to get it perfect is a tilt and shift lens Wink

Glass of its own

Nice work.
No 1 is the look I was after, but I like no 4 the best Smile

Vintage Red or how not to do it

Vintage Red or how not to do it by redstag

I can see where I went wrong now.

I used Shiraz. LOL

That's quite a surreal effect you have there. Not at all what I was looking for, but something I might try and do anyway, since my own wasn't what I was looking for either Smile

Malmesbury Abbey

Malmesbury Abbey by strawman

Surprised this hasn't got more clicks. You're obviously not promiscuous enough Smile

I think it's worked very well, looks like you got it at just the right time of day.

Great shot. The track was 6 feet deep in snow there 2 weeks ago Smile

Quote: This is completely off topic, but I noticed you mentioned that one of your friend's Mum's best friends was Marti Caine. I don't suppose you still have any contact details for said best friend, do you? Trying to track them down.

Any help you could give would be brilliant.

RJW - If you email me on bonsai.bri@gmail.com telling me who you are and why you would like the information, I may be able to help you. Obviously I'm not going to start putting other people's personal details on here.

I was chatting to a guy from Seattle tonight and he said that you only tell people it rains in the north west to stop them going there! Smile

Nice photos, btw.

I think you have one of the best portfolios on site. I'm hoping next time I'm out in California I get the chance to visit some of the places you've photographed, although I'm sure I couldn't do them justice like you do.
