Wow, strange! Your F stop was maybe a little to open, I would guess F2.8 at the most! It looks like a close up filter rather than a macro lens! Great colours, just makes the eyes go funny to look at it!

Hi guys thanks for looking.
Shaun, it may look odd but that's by design. It's actually taken @ f4 and then fiddled around with in PS. I made an oval selection around the head, which was soft anyway, and then softened it further with some gaussian blur. I like it.
Fred, I took it side on, everyone takes it side on, I wanted something different and this is it. I like it.
