This is the the War Memorial just outside the Village of Tough - Aberdeenshire - Scotland.

It is a Lone Scottish Soldier Standing with head bowed remembering his Fallen Comrades.

It is carved from a solid block of Granite, I have just created it as a silhouette because I think it makes it a more poignant scene.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn."

"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them."

We must never forget the courage of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the 1st & 2nd World Wars and Every War since so that we may live.

May They Rest In Peace !
