Firstly a huge thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments on my previous image, and a special thanks to Nonur, and Jonke's for there UA, they are very much appreciated. As previously mentioned,I have not been out for a while so here is another older image from last year on a trip to Skye. A wet and windy morning at Elgol and the Kaella Rose waiting for high tide before fishing.

Most often images of the Cuillins from Elgol are taken from the beach rather than from the pier as here: so that makes this one so welcomely different, Bill.
Excellent detail at all levels which is amazing considering the aperture mentioned.
The shadowy mountains make a great backdrop to the brighter f/g elements.
Ronnie.

So many images here.
The Cuillins look magnificent with that blue tone.
The Kaella Rose is worthy of a slot to herself as are the fishing creels
All together the image tells a story of life in Skye.

Fabulous image in every sense. A careful composition and crab traps in Sky are more colourful than our traps in Shediac New Brunswick or Port Hardy, B.C. TG

The 15 mile drive from Broadford to the little harbour here is a delight for artists and photographers. I'll be staying here in just a few weeks and I can't wait.

The breeze that blows across Loch Scavaig comes all the way across the Atlantic.

You have a fine capture Bill sets my old heart a racing.

Again, lovely composition, with great colour. I really like the way the baskets lead you into picture.
