My apologies for not being on the site for a few weeks, hope to be able to spend more time for photography now. This is an older image taken back in October 2010 at Loch Shiel. I drove here overnight and managed to get a few hours sleep in the back of the car before sunrise. I was up at 5-30am and after a few cups of coffee I walked to my chosen spot. the early light was amazing after a very cold and frosty night. I think the result was worth the restless and uncomfortable sleep in the back of the car. I would be interested in your thoughts. Bill. ps I will be travelling back North to Glencoe over the weekend and hope for some worthwhile images.

What a quality of light Bill, well worth the early mornings if you have scenery like this.

Early light touching the tops of the mountains, I wonder if it looked like this as the Clans marched down the glen to meet Bonnie Prince Charlie?
Well worth the uncomfortable sleep Bill, well done my friend.

Bill, good to see you back with a very vell presented comp, its nice to sit and have a propper look, dramatic sky and very nice lighting here, the way it just hits on the far left and brings out thoses rich red tones on the right, and as I said to you today this shot could only work as you have shown with the path being in the comp. Just like to say thanks Bill for all your help over last year, helping me understand composition and how much fun photography can be, have a great week off.
Paul.
