Once again a huge thanks to everyone for your time to view and for your very kind comments on my images they are very much appreciated. A special thanks to Kate and White Rose for the UA on my last photograph, this has just made my day. Looking back over some older images I came across this one from Aug 2010,I remember sleeping overnight in the back of the car (not recommended) to make sure I was here for the first light. The small cottage gives some scale to the size of the Buachaille Etive Mor. Your comments as always would be very much appreciated, Bill.

What an incredible image.......color, light, clouds, composition. What makes it come alive, though, is the white house in the middle. Beautiful landscape.

The cottage does add appreciation of the scale of the landscape here, Bill, and that belt of sunlit area just makes a good shot quite excellent. Must try to get up that way again this year.
Ronnie.

It's very special when the mist runs down the side of the mountains, a bonus you get for being up early. Buggers your back tho as I recall.

A great full view Bill with Black Rock Cottage looking tiny.
Amazing light, mist on Buchaille and a bit of heather to complete the picture.
