Just back after a few days on the Isle of Skye. This image was taken on Monday morning a very warm day with very few clouds in the sky, sitting here for some time relaxing and watching the gannets diving for food, life does not get much better than this. My thanks once again to everyone for your very kind comments on my previous images, they are much appreciated, Bill.

Wonderful light and colours on this fine day in Skye.
You have excellent lead in from the f/g along the cliff top path to the focal point at the lighthouse.
The only thing that doesn't quite gel with me is the fact that that focal point is sited at one edge of the frame, and I wonder if tue composition might have held better had you swung the camera to the right, excluding tue distant headland and allowing the lighthouse a position perhaps just to the right of centre.
Hope this opinion does not offend.
Ronnie.

Ronnie, many thanks for your kind comments and observations, I have taken many images from this location on the same day and have uploaded another version no 2, I would be interested on your opinion once again,as mentioned before I welcome comments that can help me improve and become a better photographer. Glad I did not cause offence, Bill.
Yes, V 2 is the bees' knees for me compositionally. The horizon is off the centre line, and the the eye is led along the natural line of the cliff edge and then drops down to the focal point which is perfectly placed in the frame.
Good f/g interest and how well you have done to capture that triangular rock pointing up and left whilst the more distant cliff points up and to the right.
So you have a strong visual composition and perfect balance.
I woulds classify V 1 as a record of what you saw whilst V 2 suggests a professional appreciation of the possibilities and an excellent capture.
Ronnie.

Haven't been up here for a couple if years now, I had quite a scare here in a storm several years back, I thought I was over the edge for sure, but that was long ago. A calm day on the north west of the misty isle, you can see for ever on this sublime visit.
