I like your chosen viewpoint here allowing the flowing water to take the eye up the water course, over the flat land and on to the mountain, which with it's bands of cloud does look a bit different to the usual shots one sees. Sometimes what might seem indifferent conditions does work to your advantage and add atmosphere to a shot, as seems to be the case here.
