Looking back over some older images I came across this one that was taken on October 2010. New Lanark and a beautiful walk heading towards the Falls of Clyde, The river was very high after torrential rain that lasted for a few days, and I remember having to constantly clean the filters as I got nearer to the falls. The mist that can been seen in the distance is from the lower part of the falls. My thanks once again to everyone for your very kind comments on my previous images, they are very much appreciated, Bill.

A wonderfully composed photograph, one which screams out look at me. Wonderful rich and rustic autumnal colours, gorgeous light, and that deep blue sky is simply stunning.

Wow! How beautiful that light is! The churning water and the colour of the leaves and the beautiful blue of the sky are fabulous.

This has got a big 'wow' factor to it, Bill, it must have been an amazing place to be. Beautifully captured and processed to bring out those colours. The power and the glory.

Bill, fantastic drama in the torrent of water, fused with lovely rustic colour tones of autumn. All this followed up by the stunning rays from the sun. Super composition mate.......
