Just returned from a few days on the Misty Isle of Skye. This image was taken one afternoon on the Quiraing in between rain showers. Your comments as always would be very much appreciated. My thanks once again to everyone for your kind words and comments on my previous images. Bill.

The land forms there are so fascinating geologically and this is captured very well in this shot of your's: and you have travelled a fair distance from the road uphill to get to this vantage point, but so worth it when you come home with shots like this.
Ronnie.

The Quiraing is a very dramatic place for many reasons, the broken land and cliffs and the way it attracts the dappled sunlight which always seems to break through here. I'd recommend a slice of the bottom and keep all the nice dark tones with that sunlight above the two lochs.
Nice work from a vey difficult spot on Skye.

Even in the thumbnail this screamed Scotland and the west coast. Skye is as ever dramatic and the lighting sums up a Scottish summer. No midges thoughWink
