I know this has been done many times before, but this I think is the first time I have managed to photograph this wonderful little house without the rain or snow. Five minutes later it was raining cats and dogs. My thanks once again to everyone for your very kind comments on my previous images, they are always very much appreciated. Bill.

I never tire of this scene which is so familiar, but every take is different depending on the time of year, weather conditions, time of day and colours.
Like this one a lot, Bill: it does look as if there's rain on the way from that heavy sky.
This boulder must be one of the most photographed but it makes an excellent f/g for Blackrock cottage and the Great Shepherd beyond.
Lovely work.
Ronnie.

An outstanding image Bill. Great foreground and a dramatic sky. I have been there although a few years have passed. I love this part of Scotland and hope to return there one day. My main memory of this place was the midges lol. Congratulations on producing a fine piece of work.

great capture Bill, foreground interest leads nicely to cottage & mountain..the mountain almost looks like a volcano with the plum of mist around its peak!!

This is a cracking shot Bill. The foreground rock leading to the cottage with the mountain in the background makes for great composition. The cloudy sky above the mountain complete a superb shot. The detail large is excellent.

As good as they come, Bill. A nicely balanced arrangement of the major elements (does that sound a bit technical Tongue) and a luverly sky.
