Taking pictures in bright sunlight is usually all about bright colours , however if we sometimes remove the colour we are left with structure.
As here, I felt the shadows simply speak for themselves.

I love the shadows of the fence. It it was mine I would try cropping off some of the very dark top area as it seems a bit overpowering to me.
