Beautifully composed. The shallow depth of field really works as it allows the sharp focus of the leaves while showing the detail of the background. One of my faves so far! Love it.

Rather than using the detail of the bluebells you have used their colour to good effect in contrasting the sharp green leaves which works very well, most people might not have thought of the idea at the time.

I agree with John - as time goes on it can be easy to skip the bluebell shots. That's why this one works so well - 'cos I never skipped it
Using the blue as a colour rather than a detail is excellent.
great selective focusing and a great comp to this shot too.
Lovely shot. Different from the norm and all the better for it.
A hint of bluebells and the green of spring. Subtle and beautifully thought through. A lovely shot.
Very well deserved HCs for these bluebell shots. Just been catching up on your pf and I am green with envy - my local bluebell woods were a bit of a washout (and totally windswept) this year so I didn't get any good shots!
These are just superb though, very well done!
