But still a good composition....excellent!

Ade

Beautifully composed. The shallow depth of field really works as it allows the sharp focus of the leaves while showing the detail of the background. One of my faves so far! Love it.

Works very well.
I'm not the world's biggest fan of bluebell shots, but this one certainly caught the eye.

Pleasing is the word I'm looking for.

A different take on a Bluebell carpet, this is very appealing because of the dof you have used. The Bluebells whilst being the subject are almost incidental...if you know what I mean.Lovely image !

Thank you very much everyone, the landscape version of this was very popular, but it looks like this portrait version may be even more liked.

Neal.

Rather than using the detail of the bluebells you have used their colour to good effect in contrasting the sharp green leaves which works very well, most people might not have thought of the idea at the time.

I agree with John - as time goes on it can be easy to skip the bluebell shots. That's why this one works so well - 'cos I never skipped it Tongue Using the blue as a colour rather than a detail is excellent.

A hint of bluebells and the green of spring. Subtle and beautifully thought through. A lovely shot.

Great colour and DOF works really well.
Nice one!

Very well deserved HCs for these bluebell shots. Just been catching up on your pf and I am green with envy - my local bluebell woods were a bit of a washout (and totally windswept) this year so I didn't get any good shots!
These are just superb though, very well done!
