Last week we had a short break to New York (thanks to everyone who helped with locations etc), I managed a little photography whilst there, most were just family snaps tho, there were so many opportunities, and would love to go back.
Its such a vibrant city with so much going on I loved it - and if / when I go back would like to sample more than just Manhatten (ok we did do a bit of Brooklyn).
This is the first image from the trip - this is the Empire State Building from a slightly different angle from what you normally see it (i.e. viwed from the top of the Rock). This is a new processing style I'm trying for these types of images (inspired by Joel Tjintjelaar). so would be interested to hear what you think. (needs looking at on a profiled screen as the tones are very dark)
Hand held at dusk, sky added later in PP
I will sit on the other images for a while - there are a couple that look OK just need to think how I will present them .
Thanks Janet for the heads up on yesterdays image, the profile should now be correct
