!4:06 hrs, stood in the lee of the harbour wall at Porthleven trying to shelter from what felt like a force 6 gale, getting soaked after my lovely wife had bought me lunch.
It was worse around the corner!
As always, thanks for dropping in.
Marvellous indeed.... a great shot.
Certainly dramatic Bill - almost feel the power of the waves.
Didn't think many would show up for this one....so: a bonus!
I'm off to the pub...so catch up later
Looks like you were sheltering by the church here Bill?
The best shots are other side when a 'real gale' is blowing
waves straight over the church!!!
this really suits the mono, as a very dramatic image
and for me a winner, perfect, and well worth a soaking.......
Quite right Lillian, although it was quite windy enough for me!
We could barely open the pub door on the other side! And far too much water flying about. I think we found the only spot where I could keep the lens reasonably dry.....didn't even comtemplate using the camera for quite a while being just happy to watch the show, until my wife reminded me to fetch it from the car: we were only there for lunch!
