Shot last Friday evening.
Thanks for looking in!
Go large; it makes sense!
Go large indeed...
Like the sweep of the bridge which suits the panoramic image.
You've done well to keep the flare out of the picture
Superb image Bill
Beautifully composed. My latest upload was also a sunset from Friday evening — I was hoping that the unpronounceable volcano's ash would lead to something spectacular like this but it didn't, up in Leeds.
Wow, the large is a real stunner.
I was rushing to go large as soon as I saw it and it was one of yours....gotta be one of the best images of the bridge I have seen Bill - this is top notch matey...just love everything about it - I will let them that know critique tell you whats right/wrong with it but for me it's a goodie !!
As Platchet would say if I could give an award I would (we are both tight non paying E2 members...lol!)
Oi Pete, where are you???
PS...Just wondering is this morning not evening?
Many thanks folks! Most appreciated definitely!!
I too was hoping for something spectacular, Dave, especially in the way of clouds. They didn't arrive but what remained was pretty nice.
Thanks enormously, Alan for your very kind words - made my evening as it happens! Oh, it was definitely evening!
Absolutely Stunning shot. Very well done!
Already badged this week, BUT IF I hadn´t done it.................
...this would have got my UA badge!
One of your very finest ever! IMHO......
Golly! An award! Thank you very much, Alan!
A very pleasant surprise!
We must have crossed, Jouko!
Thank you very much for your almost UA!
It is deeply appreciated!
you´re welcome, Bill.....
Why not start a new AUA (Almost User Award) gallery
BTW......Looks damn fine on my Eizo´s wallpaper
Send me the bill, Bill
fabulous glowing light
Its a beauty, one for the wall.
LOL! You really think you can afford it, Jouko???
Thank you Linda, Phil and Mike!!
...Out walking the dog I was having a conversation with Mitchy and then it all became clear...I thought this weas taken from "our side" not yours !! Of course it would be sill to get up at stupid oclock to do a sunrise on our side when you can have a lie on and do the opposite (sunset) on yours! I didn't realise the view of the bridge was so similar from both sides....as been explained by Phil though the "s" curve does make it look the same

It's surprising how far the sunset and sunrise moves round throughout the year Alan! Then we have the tide and weather to contend with aswell...lol
Best shot of this view by a mile!!!!
Shortlisted, Bill - loving this one
Thank you Fran and Louise!
Very nice of you to drop in!
Superb Bill. I think where you were stood is one of the best viewpoints for the bridge. The curve is superb and topped off by the fantastic colours of the sun. Pleased to be 30.
Fantastic shot !
Only my opinion but dervered more attention my friend.

Dropping in sometime later than this comment I second it
Stunning shot Bill. Best shot of the severn crossing I have seen to date. Makes me wanna go and take some shots there.
